“Taste of Goa”
is a path breaking event designed to bring in people from across the world to enjoy an already beautiful Goa which needs to attract the best tourists in order to keep its positioning as a destination for the discerning.
Whether it is art, culture, music, food, heritage and the like, Goa has it all, and our Festival aims to solidify this positioning with the best in food, music and the arts.
Since “Taste of Goa” aims at bringing the best of the subtle things Goa is known for, all the three days will showcase music from the world of Jazz, Konkani and World Music. Without doubt, nothing in Goa is complete without food and music, and this is the reason why we are bringing the best in these two together.
There is no doubt that Goa is now becoming an increasingly favoured destination for good art, and an event without art would not give a complete meaning to “Taste of Goa” which is aimed at changing the axis on which tourism rests in our beautiful state.
With charter tourism arrivals set to take a beating in Goa this year, we are delighted that this is truly going to be the greatest opportunity of upscaling the whole process, and of injecting newer ideas into an industry which is the mainstay of the Goan economy.
“Taste of Goa” is ideally positioned to lead this change by bringing in new ideas that will pitchfork Goa into a zone of high spending tourism. With such beauty so beautifully embebbed in our heritage buildings, as well as in traditional cooking and music, coupled with a local population that is much loved across India and beyond, this festival is set to bring about these revolutionary changes that will be welcomed by all. This is a great opportunity of enjoying wonderful food in an equally beautiful heritage setting in the heart of Panjim City.
