Unnati Singh

Artist Unnati Singh is back in Goa, and this time to be a part of the much awaited International Food, Art and Music festival "Taste of Goa". She has collaborated several times with Goa ForGiving and Heritage Jazz over the years and curated workshops, exhibitions and several other programs with other artists and children in Goa as well as Holland.

She lives and works between Goa, Mumbai and Delhi also travels across the globe.

Unnati Singh will be curating public art with other artists at The "Taste of Goa" Festival. Main works will be two installations, one by her and one by Artists Sanjay Panday who is currently living and working between Baroda, Ahmadabad and Delhi .

He is  also faculty at NID and R.C Technical institute Ahmadabad.  They will also together with some other artists do an interactive workshop with the kids.

Also artist Anya from London will be doing a collective community mosaic workshop with children during the festival.

Unnati, is looking forward to this public engagement, which to her becomes even more exciting with chiefs from  different countries bringing in their culture and flavors along with Goan food and music and all on one platform.

Today, when art is crossing all boundaries, and no more limited to studios and galleries, for her, such public interactive practices become all the more important to move art to another realm, where it's accessible to everyone and not just limited audience.

Anya is an established mosaic artist working in the UK, Spain India with a base mainly around the Cotswolds. As well as producing a constant stream of gallery and bespoke creations, she frequently shares her skills by working as a community artist with children in local schools and with disadvantaged adults.

She conducts very popular mosaic workshop for adults and children at her studio that are often sold out.

Her past studies in environmental engineering and passion for the environment greatly inform her work, which makes extensive and deliberate use of recycled material, from wood off-cuts to broken crockery.

This approach is greatly encouraged in her public workshops where participants are invited to bring found or broken objects to include in the creation of new works of art.
